During this time 3 other customers walked out the door and nothing was said to them, WHY? Is it because i had my very tired, screaming kids with me, or was it that my cart was full! It's my job to make sure everything is on the counter for the Cashier and NOT my job if "they" don't scan everything. I am more than willing to let you see my receipt for ELECTRONICS but for food? If this is gfoing to be a "NEW POLICY" then I think that it should be posted at the register to keep your receipt "handy" just like Sam's Club. When i called the manager, Jody, she said that she has not heard of this "NEW POLICY" and that they are working on the problem.... We have the right to say NO and there is nothing you can do about it, and employees CANNOT search personal items without customer's permission! Everyone I talk to all say they get stopped, harrassed and treated like a criminal. I know these are people looking to earn a living and all that bs. However if they are gonna racial profile to hell with them. These door people are on such a power trip and take you hostage. They already have employees dressed as regular customers and follow you around and watch you. They have tons of cameras under the tinted domes. Then the door nazis stand in your way and block the exit and wont let you leave until you let them search you. They will even grab your cart if you tell them no and try to leave after paying for your stuff. This defiantly needs to be taken to court. I had just purchased a buggy full of groceries and just wanted to go home. Long story short after returning my items for a refund and a mind numbing conversation with the manager, it became clear to just avoid WalMart from now on. I doubt WalMart will even care if they lost a customer but Ill sure feel better. I have no sympathy for thieves any more than WalMart does.
